State Convention

Idaho State FFA Convention is a four-day celebration of members' leadership, personal growth and career success through competitive events, workshops, large group sessions, keynote speakers, talent exhibitions, community service, agricultural industry tours, and more!

Over 1,400 members gather to engage in six convention sessions where motivational speakers including the retiring state FFA officers, challenge and encourage members. Awards and scholarships are presented, and those who support Idaho FFA are recognized. 2024 registration is $35 per person.

Leadership Workshops

In classroom-size groups, members experience high energy, hands on learning in leadership. Facilitators include state officers from other states, industry leaders, and students from colleges and universities.

Delegate Process

Two FFA members from each Idaho FFA chapter serve as leadership delegates to the convention. Members are assigned to committees where they generate ideas and create delegate resolutions to present to the entire delegate body for consideration. Approved resolutions then are passed to the Idaho FFA Board of Directors for review.

 

Career Expo

Business and industry partners, universities, and technical schools interface with attendees at a career exposition. Members have the opportunity to learn more about agriculture, careers, and fields of study.

Career Success Tours

Tours to over 15 agricultural industry and business locations offer FFA members the opportunity to see agriculture in action, meet with industry professionals, and explore areas of interest for future careers.

 

Community Service

Members from across Idaho serve the Twin Falls community in around 20 locations during planned community service activities.
