Talent Roster

The Talent Roster is a tool for agriculture programs to collect profile information about community members interested in assisting with a local FFA Chapter or agricultural program.

Talent Roster

Starting an Alumni Chapter

  1. Have at least 10 members who have paid Idaho State and National FFA Alumni dues.

  2. Have bylaws that are in harmony with the National FFA Alumni bylaws.

  3. Have a council of elected officers according to Bylaws.

  4. Complete Chapter Charter/Reactivating Application.

  5. Submit the completed application to the Idaho State FFA Alumni Secretary.

  6. The state FFA Alumni Association will complete the setup process on FFA.org.

    • After that, the local advisor will link the alumni chapter to the local FFA Chapter. Once linked, the advisor will receive an Alumni Leader Role for the alumni chapter. The alumni chapter will have 30 days to submit their initial roster in ffa.org/alumni. After submitting your roster, you will have 30 days to pay your state and national membership dues to the state secretary. Then the state will approve your roster for national approval. You will then be issued a charter certificate and a scroll and allowed to apply to be a part of National FFA’s 501c3 status.

  7. Apply through the IRS for an EIN number.

  8. Complete the Application for National FFA 501c3 Status.
