What are you most excited about for your state officer year?

I am most excited to get to know Idaho FFA members! From what I’ve experienced already, you guys are pretty awesome and I can’t wait to spend my year with all of you. I am also really excited to learn more about agriculture in Idaho!

What college, major, and future career are you planning?

Starting this fall I will be attending the University of Idaho where I will be studying agriculture communications and leadership. I am not set on what exact career I want, but I know it will be within the agriculture industry.

Tell about a meaningful experience you have had in FFA?

Participating in the agriculture communications career development event was one of the most meaningful experiences I have had in FFA. This competition helped me realize the endless options of career opportunities in the agriculture industry. Competing at the national level really was a great experience, but also helped me discover my own potential.

What do you do outside of FFA?

Throughout high school, outside of FFA I was involved in several other activities like; cross country, basketball, track, yearbook, and FCA. When I’m with my friends, we are either going on runs together, swimming , or playing sand volleyball. In the summer you can find me on the lake, out on the trails, or just in the mountains!

What is your SAE Project?

For the past four years, my SAE project has been operating a lawn care business. My sister and I would work about three days every week, mowing a trimming yards around the Treasure Valley. Along with my lawn care business, last year I raised and showed two lambs for the Western Idaho Fair. I’m grateful for both of my SAE projects, as I have learned a lot from them!

What is your mission for the year?

My mission for this year is to help members find their own passion in this organization. And of course a HUGE part of my mission is to have FUN with Idaho FFA members!

Is there something else you would like FFA members to know about you?

I love running, donuts (specifically Krispy Kreme glazed donuts), and if you can’t tell already... I have a thing for jumping pics!
